Privacy

Short version: what you paste or open stays on your device.

Your text and files

All of TabMender’s tools run in your browser. Text you type or paste and files you open or drop are read and processed on your device, partly in a background worker, and are never sent to a server. Downloads are created in your browser too. The YAML parser is part of the site’s own code and is loaded from this site when you use the YAML tab fixer.

Analytics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies or cross-site tracking and never receives what you type, paste or drop into the tools. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, also handles the requests your browser makes for its pages, as any web host does.

Cookies and storage

TabMender sets no cookies. If you pick a light or dark theme, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under tabmender-theme, and nowhere else.

Links to other sites

Pages link to other sites, such as related tools in the footer. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link.
